On Sunday 13th February, the Jurade de Saint-Emilion was in Paris for Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris. To mark the occasion, it brought together its ambassadors for a dinner cruise on the Seine.
As ambassadors for the wines of Saint-Emilion, the Jurade puts the spotlight on its appellations during special events. During a magical evening aboard a Parisian peniche, the Jurats and their guests found themselves transported back to the 1930s. From the carefully designed décor by The Kub agency to the Lindy-Hop dancers, it was a total trip back in time! To prolong the magic of the moment, guests simply had to turn their heads. They could take in the magnificent view of Paris by night as the river flowed by, or be blown away by Romain‘s incredible magic tricks! To complete the evening, the menu devised by Maison Lenôtre was accompanied by Saint-Emilion wines.
This exceptional evening was held to mark the opening of Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2022. Vinexpo is a key event for French and international wine and spirits professionals.
This dinner was therefore an opportunity for the winegrowers to invite their customers or friends to share a special moment. We also had the pleasure of welcoming several Jurade inductees. José GARCIA, Eric LAVAINE, Guillaume DE TONQUEDEC, Clovis CORNILLAC, Patrick TIMSIT and Michèle LAROQUE joined us to celebrate this evening in honour of Saint-Emilion wines.
