Passionate about its terroir and the great wines, the Trocard family has maintained an exceptional vineyard for 15 generations in the heart of Libournais. In love with Merlot, Jean-Louis Trocard has been transcending since 1976 the king's grape on the right bank of Bordeaux on magnificent terroirs selected in Pomerol appellations, Lalande de Pomerol, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Lussac Saint-Émilion.He created one of the first superior Bordeaux 100 % Merlot: Château Trocard Monrepos. In 2002, Benoit, the eldest son of Jean Louis and Élisabeth Trocard, in turn embarked on the family saga. It brings new practices to the vine as well as to the cellar, which allows trocard wines to acquire very great notoriety internationally. The wines of the Trocard vineyards are renowned for their beautiful concentrations and their great finesse.
