Château Péby Faugères is the perfect fusion between the passion of Silvio Denz for art and wine.Like a work of art, this little vintage of 7.45 hectares is meticulously shaped by the teams that operate like artists to reveal this exceptional terroir. The best plots planted with old Merlot were selected with Michel Rolland in 1997 at the request of Corinne Guisez, widow of Pierre-Bernard Guisez.Michel Rolland had immediately identified the exceptional potential of this 100% Merlot vineyard planted with a single piece on the old soil of the Argilo-limestone in Saint-Émilion.Former owner of the estate, Pierre-Bernard Guisez will forever leave his imprint on this vintage which inherits its nickname, with the first vintage in 1998.
