SINCE MARCH 2016, FIND THE SAINT-EMILION WINE TRIP TRUCK IN 4 MAJOR FRENCH REGIONS!
The truck will do between 15 and 20 stopovers in several cities in France to help you discover the 16 wine of the Saint Emilion appellation. A first not to be missed under any circumstances!
THE TRUCK VERSION OF WINE: A FRENCH-STYLE ROAD-TRIP
In the food-truck mode, the winemakers of Saint Emilion will come your way throughout the year 2016. Find them in the four corners of the Hexagon: from the Grand Southwest to Alsace, via Britanny and the Nord-Pas-de-Calais. On each of the 15-20 stages,
a sommelier will be waiting for you to taste 16 wines from the four appellations: Saint-Emilion, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Lussac-Saint-Emilion andPuisseguin-Saint-Émilion. Come and discover this Citroën HY vintage truck, fully converted and painted in the colors of Saint-Emilion wines!
BETWEEN SHARING AND CONVIVIALITY
The “Saint-Emilion” truck, how does it work? The sommelier will welcome you onto this “cellar-room”, a place of conviviality and closeness, for trainings and tasting initiations. For the concepts of exchange, pleasure and passing-on are inherent to the appellations. And who better to talk about these wines,than the winemakers themselves?
They will be present at each stage to introduce you to the expertise of the winemakers of Saint-Emilion. Local wine shops are no exception. Fully associated with the Saint-Emilion Wine Trip, they can put on the colors of Saint-Emilion or offer training sessions for tasting on the truck. Drop stops, slates, posters, aprons and corkscrews … all will be available to them.

How to know where and when the Saint-Emilion Wine Trip will be near you? Thanks to an upcoming internet page dedicated to the event, but also through the different wine shop partners in the operation. A tip: keep your ears open, follow us on social networks! We will inform you before coming to see you! You will also have the opportunity to take part in a big contest organized in each region. The winners will walk away with 16 different wines. Wine shop partners also have their own competition:
a competition for a stay in the vineyard of Saint Emilion to be won. The rule is simple, just be the one that brings the most people onto the truck!
