The story of this beautiful Charterhouse dates back to the 17th century, when the "Bellevue fief" belonged to the Lacaze family. Louis Horeau, cousin germain of Jean Lacaze took over the property in 1938. When he died, his son -in -law Jacques Pradel de Lavaux and René de Coninck succeeded him.In 2007, Coninck's family sold its share at Château Angelus, which is thus alongside the Pradel de Lavaux family to exploit this magical place full of history. Appointed at the head of the exploitation in the year 2000, Nicolas Thienpont, assisted by Stéphane Derenoncourt, undertakes work to improve drainage and soil maintenance. As an extension of this work, the team of Château Angelus has watched over the destiny of the property, on the vineyard and the chai from 2007 to 2022 today.
