A historic vineyard The vineyard was created in the XIX century, and went into the fold of the Cassat-Coutant family in 1920. In 2012 Agnès Coutant took over the family property with the help of her son Paul (4th generation). An exceptional territory he vineyard is located in the small village of Saint-Etienne de Lisse on the Saint-Emilion appellation. The fifteen hectares on the side constitute the limestone clay terroir of our wines. The wines are mainly made up of Merlot but also Cabernet Franc. Our very clay soil is ideal for cultivating Merlot, which is why we also have a 100% Merlot wine in our range.
