Since the end of the 15th century, the vine has prospered on this exceptional site, perched on the Saint-Émilion plateau housing the best vineyards of the appellation. In 1852, the famous merchant Jean-Pierre Beylot bought the estate and built the elegant castle which still dominates the vineyard today. In 2004, charmed by the history and singularity of the estate, surrounded by former Roman furrows and majestic rows of vines, Denise and Stephen Adams acquired it. The vineyard is admirably located on the limestone plateau and on the clay slopes of the southern mound of Saint-Emilion.The vineyards are exposed to it south and extend over 18 hectares.

A word from the winegrower Denise et Stephen Adams
“The terroir dictates the way we vinify. Each plot has its own character and its natural vitality which will be reflected in wine, whether it be minerality, density, structure or elegance. We do not cultivate parcel by plot, nor row per row, but foot by foot.»»
