A descendant of winemaking lines, Pierre is the 5th generation to take over the family business. After his studies in wine, he took over the family business accompanied by his father. In 2008, they created “Les Vignobles Faytout”. In 2010, they embarked on the conversion to organic farming. The 2013 vintage obtains Certification in Organic Agriculture. A commitment beyond certification with as many vines as wood for Biodiversity. Eco-grazing and suitable work equipment to limit carbon emissions. To cope with climate change, he focuses on old-fashioned grape varieties instead of resistant grape varieties. He works on the microclimate of the plots and the needs of the grape varieties to optimize the quality of the fruit. Know-how, a passion for making expressive wines that bring out the characters of the terroirs.
