A stage was be set up in the heart of the moat of the Palais Cardinal and was hosted two free concerts on Saturday 29th of June, proposed by the Saint-Emilion Jazz Festival.
20H00 - BRASS UNDER INFLUENCE
Born of the friendship between Sébastien "iep" Arruti (Trombonist and Band Leader) and Pierre Cherbero (Grand Marshal) and their love for New Orleans, Brass Under Influence is in line with the Brass Bands of "The Big Easy", the nickname given to the city of New Orleans. Originally a tribute to Craig Klein's New Orleans Nightcrawlers, the Brass Under Influence repertoire is made up of current funky rhythms and traditional second lines.
