Wines that he, along with the other band members, manages to appreciate more and more: “with age, I feel that our palate has refined itself”, he smiles.
A maturity towards wine that allows him today to look back to his passion for Saint-Emilion wines. He confesses he takes it after “his father and his step-father who are enthusiasts and passed on this taste for wine-related discoveries”.
Today, aged 35, tasting a Saint-Emilion wine brings him back “good memories, when he was younger and was starting to discover wine”. A family relationship with Saint-Emilion wines that he still has.
The best way of drinking a Saint-Emilion wine? For Benoît Poher, it necessarily involves conviviality, during “a family meal or a meal amongst mates”. How about you?
