GRANDS CRUS CLASSÉS DE SAINT-EMILION: THE MUSICAL TASTING
Fun-loving, guided by friendship, Stéphane Belmondo couldn’t listen to Eric Legnini’s Musical tasting without bringing up several pieces: “Saint-Emilion wines are my favorite in the world. And I always want to play, give happiness to people”. To guide his music, the trumpeter drew on the emotion aroused by the tasting of 8 Grands Crus Classés of Saint-Emilion: “I just had to let go. From the first sip, a lot of ideas to play came to me. I had the images of vines I know or the village of Saint-Emilion in mind “. In his improvisation, Stéphane also inspired the winemakers of Saint-Emilion: “I have winemaker friends who take risks. They test things, sometimes it works, sometimes not. It’s like music”. For the Musical tasting, the risk taking was successful. The audience applauded Éric Legnini and Stéphane Belmondo at length.
