Created at the end of the 18th century, Château Bellefont-Belcier was ideally located on the southern coast of Saint-Emilion, co-waters Château Pavie, Château Larcis-Ducasse and Roteboeuf Château. The Bellefont-Belcier Domaine originally belonged to a powerful Bordeaux family: at the end of the 18th century, Count Louis-François de Belcier first founded the vineyard and then, at the beginning of the 19th, build the castle thatHe names Bellefont. The castle passed ownership of the Faure family at the end of the 19th century.Modern for his time, he designed the famous circular cuvier in the hill with its gravity reception.Preserved intact since its construction, it is today one of the jewels of this property.Important work for restructuring the vineyard was undertaken in 1994. Château Bellefont-Belcier was classified in 2006 Grand Cru Classé.Peter Kwok acquired the property in 2017.
