Created in 1930, Château Grand Destieu is located in the southern part of the jurisdiction of Saint-Émilion. The vineyard extends over 5ha, in sablo-gravelly soils. It is made up of particularly taste old vines with predominantly of Merlot grape varieties and in a smaller proportion of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon. A family exploitation on a human scale oriented towards a high level of quality of wines with an environmental certification HVE-3 aimed at limiting the inputs as much as possible and guaranteeing a healthy product. After a refresher of the vineyard and the cellars, the estate is now led by Bernard Debacque and his collaborators. The Château Cru Grand Destieu, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, is our flagship product, vinified and high for 2 years in French oak barrels. The sole objective of the culture of excellence and the satisfaction of its customers, Château Grand Destieu is recognized by many awards.
