Bordeaux Wine Festival was held on the docks of the Garonne from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th, June. The Saint-Emilion winegrowers were delighted to welcome you to the Saint-Emilion – Pomerol – Fronsac stand.
Last week, 4 years after the last edition, we were delighted to take part once again in the 2022 Bordeaux Wine Festival edition.
Over the 4 days of the event, visitors were able to enjoy a wide range of entertainment, culinary stands and tastings. Belgium was the guest of honour at this year’s event, so participants were able to discover traditional dishes accompanied by Bordeaux wines. They could also enjoy regional specialities such as oysters from the Bassin d’Arcachon or Basque sausages. These culinary discoveries were also an opportunity to share moments of exchange on the stands of the Bordeaux appellations. The winegrowers were delighted to be able to advise customers on the wines that best suited their tastes. On the Saint-Emilion – Pomerol – Fronsac stand, winegrowers were on hand to talk about the 10 appellations represented.
More than 100 wines from our 10 appellations (Saint-Emilion, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Lussac Saint-Emilion, Puisseguin Saint-Emilion, Montagne Saint-Emilion, Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion, Pomerol, Lalande de Pomerol, Fronsac and Canon Fronsac) were on sale on our stand. It was an opportunity for visitors to discover new wines in direct contact with the producers. Indeed, the diversity of the terroirs enables the 10 AOCs to offer wines that are quite different from one another. So anyone who loves red wine could find something to their liking on our stand.
At the same time, at private parties, professionals were given the opportunity to taste the wines of Saint-Emilion – Pomerol – Fronsac, accompanied by a sweet and savoury buffet enjoyed by all. Every evening, a DJ and a magician, Romain Key, entertained guests in a warm and festive atmosphere.
Bordeaux Wine Fesitval was also an opportunity to showcase the vineyards of Saint-Emilion – Pomerol – Fronsac!
Wine School sessions were organised on our stand and attracted over 200 participants. With tastings and quizzes, the students were able to learn while having fun!
The winegrowers were very pleased to see you again after a 4-year absence! We can’t wait for the next edition!
