On January 31st, 2022, at the end of the Coupe des Crus de Saint-Emilion, 24 crus were named “Coups de Cœur 2022” by a jury of professionals! Château Teyssier Cuvée d’Exception, a Puisseguin Saint-Emilion, was one of the winners. Antoine DARGUEY, 59, and Thomas DURAND-TEYSSIER, 42, are the co-managers. Antoine is the property manager and handles all the marketing side of the business, thanks to his dual role as manager and Bordeaux wine merchant. Thomas, on the other hand, is the vineyard manager.
Blending is by mutual agreement.

The vineyard dates back to the 15th century and surrounds a superb 18th-century Carthusian monastery. All in one piece, the clay-limestone terroir, planted with over 80% Merlot, is located on one of the highest points of the Puisseguin Saint-Emilion appellation.
