I joined the family estate in 2008. I’m involved in its management alongside my father, Bernard. This makes me the 5th generation to take up the torch.
As a multi-tasker, I’m just as much involved in the vineyard as I am in the winery and in welcoming customers.
"We're delighted to have been selected!"
Our property is located in the south of the Saint-Émilion Jurisdiction, along the Dordogne river.
Our 22 ha of vines are spread over 2 appellations: 16 ha in AOC Saint-Émilion and 6 ha in AOC Bordeaux.
Our plots are located in 3 communes of the appellation. This gives us terroirs ranging from sandy to clay-loam.
Approved as a level 3 “Haute Valeur Environnementale” (High Environmental Value) farm since 2018, we respect the biodiversity of our vineyards and apply a rational phytosanitary strategy.
Château Hautes Graves du Rouy is the flagship of Vignobles BOULADOU. It is the fruit of our best plots.
A blend of Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%), this wine is vinified traditionally. It is aged in barrels for 9 months.
Château Hautes Graves du Rouy goes perfectly with a piece of beef cooked with vine shoots.
