Once again this year, the Coupe des Crus de Saint-Emilion honors 24 winners.
These men and women work day after day to produce wines that live up to the quality and environmental commitment of Saint-Emilion wines.
Discover the portraits of these properties in Lussac Saint-Emilion, Puisseguin Saint-Emilion, Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, as well as Grands Crus Classés.
Today, Château Armens, a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, is in the spotlight, with a portrait of its owner, Alexandre de MALET ROQUEFORT.
I’m the owner of Château Armens.
We bought the property in 1998. It’s part of our family estate, Domaines Comte de Malet Roquefort (which also includes Château La Gaffelière).
The property is now HVE certified.
“The satisfaction that the quality of our wine has been recognized, and the desire to be one of the favorite wine once again in the future!”
2024 Favourites – Château Armens
Situated on clay-limestone soils, Château Armens, like all our wines, has silky, fine tannins and excellent ageing potential.
The team at Château La Gaffelière elaborates and vinifies Château Armens, following the same philosophy that has made the family’s reputation since 1705.
It’s a great way to showcase the finest Saint-Emilion estates at affordable prices.
Château Armens can be enjoyed now and over the next 10 years.
The best pairing is with grilled red meat, but other possibilities, such as a stir-fried pork, are also suitable, as it’s a perfect accompaniment to a meal.
With Château Armens, we always share a friendly, convivial moment, whether it’s during a tasting or at the table !
