Chateau Gaubert has been in my family today since 1954, I resumed the domain in 2016 and fell, with my husband Max, to give him back his brilliance. Nestled on the limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion, Gaubert is made up of 8.5 hectares.6, are today in production, 1 is to come, the rest is orchards, fallow, which helps the vineyard immunity by biodiversity. The estate is closed by low walls.Our ancestors were able to enhance the stone, abundant in the sector.These low walls delimit the property but also serve as shelter and food reserves for local wildlife. We cultivate 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet francs in a reasoned manner. The wines are vinified and raised in a concrete tank, only part of the volume of the Saint-Emilion Grand Crû will be a year in a barrel of more than one wine.
