Château Vieux Rivalon has been a family property since the 17th century.From 1947, Charles Bouquey moved to property until his death in 2016, 70 years during which he had passionately worked on the development of the vineyard.It is today his grandson, Alexandre Plocq, who directs the vineyard after learning the vine and wine professions for 18 months in the prestigious Château Cheval Blanc.Today, the vineyard covers 20 ha: 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% shared between Malbec Etr Le Cabernet Sauvignon.
