As every year, the Wine Truck of Saint-Emilion Wines went to meet the French! From Saint-Emilion to Montmartre, this mobile bar is an opportunity for wine producers to share a special moment with the general public. Discover the 2021 stages!
Saint-Emilion Wines and the ODP Talence Festival: a great adventure
From September 23rd to 26th, the ODP Talence Festival organized its 6th edition. As every year, the Festival, which gathers 900 volunteers, mainly firemen, donates its profits to the Œuvre des Pupilles. This association takes care of the children of firefighters who have died in the line of duty. It also provides moral and financial support to the families of firefighters who find themselves in distressing situations.
The Wines of Saint-Emilion are partners of this beautiful cause since the beginning. This edition was a great success. It testified to the joy of everyone to meet again at a friendly, family and festive time after long months of restriction. 24 000 festival-goers attended the 19 concerts scheduled over the 4 days (IAM, Catherine Ringer, Tryo, Hoshi, Véronique Samson…). The wines of Saint-Emilion were at the heart of the festivities. The Wine Truck was installed in the enclosure of the Park Peixotto. A real moment of exchange between the festival-goers and the wine growers present.
The Wine Truck at the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre
Established in 1934 to prevent a real estate project, the vines of Montmartre are celebrated by the brotherhoods of Montmartre for over 85 years. Since 2007, many artistic and cultural events have been added to the traditional celebrations of the vineyard. 3rd Parisian event, after Paris Plage and Nuit Blanche, the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre gathers every year a variety of audiences from all over the world (400 000 visitors in 3 days).
Since 2016, the Saint-Emilion Wine Trip is present on the event to make the general public taste wines. This edition 2021 was held from October 8 to 10 on the theme “Future in celebration in the 18th“. It was an opportunity for the wines of Saint-Emilion to present the Coups de Cœurs selected at the end of the Coupe des Crus de Saint-Emilion 2020.
The Mongolfiades of Saint-Emilion
Supported by the Association Vignes et Ballons, the Montgolfiades of Saint-Emilion celebrated this year their 10th edition from October 15 to 17. A unique opportunity to discover, seen from the sky, historic landscapes listed as World Heritage of Humanity. The thousands of people present were able to admire the flight of the multicolored balloons and their course with the wind above the thousand-year-old vineyards.
Beyond the breathtaking show in the sky, the association had a real desire to develop the animations on the ground. Gourmet market, animations and workshops for young and old, photo contest… The Wine Council was a partner of this beautiful event and made discover, thanks to its Wine Truck, the Wines of Saint-Emilion in the heart of the Park Guadet.
