On January 31st 2022, at the end of the Coupe des Crus de Saint-Emilion, 24 wines were chosen as “Coups de Cœur 2022” by a jury of professionals! Château Rochebelle, a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé, was one of the winners. It is owned by Philippe and Emilie FANIEST. Find out more about these winegrowers and their wine!
Together with my daughter, Emilie, we work in the vineyard, the cellar and the marketing department with passion and high standards. We respect this precious heritage to shape the style of this Grand Cru Classé in its finest expression as a terroir wine.
"We are extremely pleased to be part of the winners of the Coupe des Crus for the second time. It's a real sign of recognition that reinforces our philosophy and our hard work on a daily basis."
An authentic family jewel, rooted for 5 generations in the hills above the limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion.
The style of its wines, the monolithic cellars enhanced by magnificent lighting effects and the breathtaking view over the Dordogne valley reveal all the magic of Rochebelle.
One of the unique features of Rochebelle is the existence of monolithic cellars dating back to the 18th century.
Today, Rochebelle’s wines are aged mainly in new barrels at a constant temperature of 13-14°C and a humidity level of 90%, ensuring that old vintages are preserved in an unequalled environment.
Rochebelle is the perfect illustration of a racy wine with great ageing potential, combining purity, velvetiness and tension: a signature.
Château Rochebelle goes perfectly with all grilled or roasted meats (game, rib of beef with porcini mushrooms, leg of lamb with herbs, etc.), or even truffle brouillade.
