After thirty years spent in porcelain in Limoges, Dominique and Florence Decoster acquire the Château Fleur Cardinale in 2001. More than a professional conversion, it is a choice of life: from the start, they work and settleon the property.With the help of the team in place, the estate was promoted in 2006 to the rank of Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Émilion. Amateur of history (s), fond of technical information, in search of an atypical experience or a friendly moment with family or friends, with each visitor their tailor-made journey.For all, neophytes or fine connoisseurs of the dive bottle, young and old, the cardinal house has been thought of as a place of discoveries and sharing where the wine is told, appreciates, surrounded by the vines where it was born, tastes itself, feels and, even more, is felt.

Each year, we are committed to producing very high quality wine ethically and sustainable, respecting our magnificent clay-limestone terroir.

Events

La Maison Cardinale organise, le samedi 7 septembre à partir de 17h00, une soirée de rencontres littéraires en partenariat avec Les Livres De La Promenade. Cet événement met à l’honneur bonnes feuilles et Grands Crus avec au programme, lectures, rencontres, dédicaces et dégustations des vins de La Maison Cardinale. La soirée s’articulera autour du travail de deux écrivaines : Simonetta Greggio et Valérie Tong Cuong. Un moment d’échange privilégié entre les deux autrices et le public. En seconde partie de la soirée, les propriétaires Caroline et Ludovic Decoster recevront les invités pour une dégustation et une restauration légère sur la terrasse paysagée donnant sur le théâtre de vignes (option payante). Durée des rencontres littéraires : environ 3h Entrée gratuite sur réservation Dégustation (3 vins) & restauration sur place (planches de charcuterie, fromages, crudités et fruits frais) : 35€ par personne
