On 31st January 2022, at the end of the Coupe des Crus de Saint-Emilion, 24 wines were named “Coups de Cœur 2022” by a jury of professionals! Château Beynat Cuvée Terre Amoureuse, a Saint-Emilion, was one of the winners. Alain TOURENNE, is the manager of the estate. Find out more about this winemaker and his wine!
What is your role on the estate?
I’ve worked in various wine-related professions: cellar worker in a cooperative winery, cellar master at an estate, technical director of a wine services company and now winemaker!
I took over Château Beynat in 2008. Since then, I’ve been in charge of management and innovation at the estate.
You are one of the 24 "Coups de Cœur 2022" of Saint-Emilion Wines. How do you feel about this?

Can you tell us about your estate?
The estate was created in 1917 when Léonard NEBOUT bought several parcels of land in Castillon. Today, Château Beynat covers 25 hectares of different appellations, including a 1 hectare parcel in Saint-Emilion.
The estate has been organic and biodynamic for 15 years. We have 14 jars and make wines without sulphites.
