What are your roles on the property?
- Romain is in charge of the management of the technical part of the viticulture and viniculture – What is the most pleasant for him : “the work with the tractor in the morning when you are still almost alone in the middle of the vines, and the pleasure of the blending when you go to find the quintessence of the vintage”.
- Guillaume manage the wine tourism and commercial part – What is the most pleasant for him : “The relationship of trust, of sharing that we create and maintain with our clientele during our shows or visits to the estate. The long-awaited arrival of the new harvest at harvest time. Sharing the family history”.
Can you tell us about your wine estate?
Located at the gates of the village of Saint-Emilion, Château Vieux Larmande (Saint-Emilion Grand Cru) has been a family property for 6 generations. The vineyard of Château Vieux Larmande (4,25 ha) is composed of Merlot and Cabernet franc on the silico-clay soil.

For the past three years, we have been developing the educational and sensory aspects of our wine tourism itinerary in order to bring our visitors closer to our passion.
Vieux Larmande is steeped in history, as can be seen from the buildings forming a mini hamlet where each structure has its own particularity and uniqueness!

Can you tell us about the awarded vintage?
A wine with an expressive fruitiness, offering a beautiful aromatic complexity marked by red fruits, Château Vieux Larmande offers us a powerful wine, all in roundness and seduction. Its round, long, silky mouth, punctuated by a harmonious finish, has all the ageing potential of a Grand Saint-Emilion.
Can you suggest a food and wine pairing with this vintage?
The traditional duck breast of the Southwest, there is nothing better!!! Simplicity!
